(1) For petty selfish gains,/For worthless paltry praise,
Evil abounds everywhere. "तुच्छ स्वार्थसिद्धि के लिए/कुछ व्यर्थ की प्रसिद्धि के लिए Het grey 3774 97 HPAT!" (9.880)
Where is the prayer to the Lord ?
Where is the worship of the Lord ? For glorious spiritual attainment ? “वह प्रार्थना कहाँ है प्रभु से,/वह अर्चना कहाँ है प्रभु की
Rhref His forg!" (9.880) He denounces the Buddhi or intelligence which revels in sin and selfishness and calls it 'world-betrayer', 'misery-inflictor' and cause of terrorism. These tendencies are barbaric and must be nipped in the bud.
Acharya casts a glance at the history of cultures and insists on the great ideals which women of yore have placed before man. All cultures and civilizations are nourished by the kind, compassionate, loving milk of the mother. They are nurtured under the tender care of her affection and vatsalya. Acharya gives subtle nuances of the synonyms of the sanskrit words for woman by splitting of samas according to sanskrit grammar rules. Nari- (1)→ Na = no, ari = enemy
One who is not the enemy of anybody is Nari or woman. (2)→ Na = no, aari = spiky saw.
One who is not the ragged saw of destruction is Nari or woman. Mahila- (1)→ One who creates auspiciousness in the atmosphere, making life a
festival of joy. (2)→ One who guides man to the right goal is also mahila or woman. (1)→ Avagama' means, the light of knowledge. One who dispels darkness
and gives light to life is Abala. (2)→ Bala also means problems. One who solves all problems balas is
Abala or woman. In the similar vein kumari is explained as one who grants prosperity. Similarly a good number of words like stri, suta, duhita, have been explained as those who grant auspiciousness mangalya. Many wholesome topics are taken up with Prabhakar the 'Sun' giving his sermon, which dwells upon psychological traits, freedom from sin, awakening of righteousness and final preparation for release or liberation. Acharya says, "one untouched by egoism is free". (Pg. 22) Friendship, compassion, devotion, sympathy, tolerance, meditation and Yoga, are all hinted at to bring new order or renaissance in life. The canto ends with the sermon of Kumbha, Earthern pot, in which an aspirant starts with his sadhana that journeys from diversity to unity, Bhed to Abheda from known to unknown Reality.
