If so, it is another case of Bhavabhūti's loose constructions 1. 6 trat. The force of this pronoun is not at all clear. VR. points out - that the words may either be taken as spoken on behalf of Janaka, who considered his entue property as the possession of his son-in-law; or, that tvat may be understood as a distinct word in the ablative case signifying on your account' I think the substitution of tut would remove these difficulties and give a much better sense Page 118,1 1. I think sphurat gives us the clue to the solution of the difficulty. Unlike those other words sphurat is a present participle, and
