[ 65 í The next is a long section (sl. 15-63) on the examination and selection of salagrāma stones, śālagrāma-šila-pariksā; (sl. 15) the suitable form and the suitable sizes (sl. 16, 17) for stones are given ; as also the uusuitable types (sl. 18-20) with certain modifications (sl. 21); the differences in merit owing to variation in colours (sl. 22); and the respective names according to variation of colours (sl. 23, 24); and the proportion of the discus, calcrapramānam.
In the next subsection, cakra[visesal-laksaņāni, the particular types of cakras are described (sl. 26–36); the differences in name according to colours and their particular merits (sl. 37-40); other kinds of cakras and their resultant merits in worship (sl. 41–13, 45–51) (31. 44); the ten avatāras of Vişņu are described (śl. 52-60); the banning of exposure of cakras (sl. 61) and of the sales etc., of the same (sl. 62); the glorification of the salagrāma stone is next given.
In the following section, particular forms of Vişņu images are described - Vāmana (sl. 69–71); Rāma (sl. 72a); AnantaBalaržīma (sl. 75); Nrsimha (sl. 72 - 74, 77-82, 83-85); NaraVarāha (sl. 76); Jalasāyin ($1. 86–90); Vaikuạtha (śl. 91–93) ; Viśvarūpa (sl. 94-97); Ananta (sl. 98—101); Trailokyamohana (sl. 102-105); of Pannagāšana (sl. 64-68) and the distribution of auxiliary deities in Vişnu Temple (śl. 106—109) and the description of Vişņu's attendants (sl. 110–115).
Chapter VI of DMP. is a lengthy one, consisting of 169, one hundred and sixty-nine verses and describes the images of Rudra and the phallus, linga.
The first few verses give descriptions of Sadyojāta (śl. 1, 2); of Vāmadeva (31. 3—5); of Aghora (śl. 6-12); of Tatpuruşa (sl. 15); of Isa (31. 14).
Next, are described Mrtyunjaya (sl. 15, 16); Vijaya (81. 17, 18); Kiraņākşa (sl. 19); Aghora? ($1. 20); Srikantha (śl. 21, 22); Mahādeva (śl. 23, 24), Sadāśiva (Si. 25, 26).
