The next subsection is concerning Bana-lingas. The places of origin of Bana phalluses (l. 102, 103); the selection of Banalingas (sl. 104); the bad Bana-lingas (sl. 105, 106); the conditions, when even pieces of stone are sacred (sl. 107); the sacredness of Bānas, from any place whatsoever (sl. 108); the shape of Bānas which give wealth, etc., (1. 109-110); the sacredness of Banas, under all conditions (sl. 111-114); the merits of installing Bānas (sl. 115-121); the glory of worshipping Bānas having one to fourteen asras (sl. 122) are described, in order.
The characteristics of sacred tanks attached to Siva shrines (s. 123); the merits of taking baths in the same (sl. 124a) and the sins for stepping across waters, with which Siva is washed (sl. 124b); the procedure of circumbulating sacred shrines of deities (s. 125) and special restrictions with regard to Jaina shrines (3. 126); the directions to which the water conduit, pranala, should face (s. 127); the characteristics of pedestals etc., (sl. 128, 129) and conduits etc., (l. 129-132 and 150); and of sluices (l. 133) are given.
The diverse parts of a Pitha, base (sl. 134-138); the directions against making the linga or pitha too small or big (s. 139) and defects for these (sl. 140) are described.
The varieties of Pedestals (sl. 141,142) and the characteristics of the different Pedestals (sl. 142-146) and their special qualities (sl. 147-148); the directions for making Pedestals, to be of the same class with the phalluses (s. 149); the characteristics of Mukha-linga (s. 151) and the names of the different faces (sl. 152) are described.
Next, are described, Śiva Temples with one door (sl. 153, 154) and with four doors (l. 155-157); and the Guardians facing the east (s. 158, 159), the south (sl. 160, 161), the west (sl. 162, 163) and the north (sl. 164, 165), respectively; and lastly, the positions of the animal vehicles, cahanas for deities (sl. 166, 167); the height of the images, to which, their respective vahanas should look up (sl. 168).
