Similarly, if disgust is due to the sight of the flow of blood, marrow and fat of sacrificial beasts; wonder due to mesmerism, jugglery or other magical tricks; and dispassionate tranquility to be portrayed in an arch-knave, a villain or a Cāņdāla - all will give rise to the semblance of the respective sentiments. There are immature sentiments also, besides the pseudo ones. Love in the form of devotion to God (Bhakti), reverence to superiors (Śraddha) and affection towards kinsmen (Premarati) and such other sentiments as also those which do not find
velopment on account of some other sentiment in high progress at a particular spot, are all classified as Bhāvadhvani ( wracaia ). Bhavabhāsa
Just as the sentiments are calied 'pseudo-sentiments' for reasons of some impropriety either in their make up or the substratum, Bhāvas or feelings can also be 'pseudo-bhāvas' (भावाभास) in case their delineation is not done in an appropriate form or manner. Bhāvodaya
Rasa, Bhāva, Rasābhāsa and Bhāvābhāsa are the suggested elements causing Camatkāra. Besides these four, there are other four phases like(1) Bhāvodaya or a sudden rise of feelings; (2) Bhava-śānti or subsiding of feelings no sooner than they
arise; (3) Bhava-Sandhi or the confluence of such distinct feelings
as are competent to suppress one another but fail to do
so at a particular spot; and (4) The commixture or variegation of feelings or Bhāvaśabalatā
which consists in the suggestion of different feelings that are either neutral or in direct opposition with one another.
