Shiksha Kendra Shree Jain Shilpa Shiksha Kendra-As this name echoes in my ears all my fond memories flow in my mind remember it clearly; it's been almost a decade that I have been involved in this organization as a teacher in IGNOU and joint secretary.
The classes are held on Saturday & Sunday. This institute is very good for those students who for some reasons couid not continue the regular school.
Here the level of studies is very easy. The-classes are for 10th &11th standard. I have seen a lot of students who have passed out from this school and completed their graduation & post-graduation. It was my father-in-law who had asked me if I was interested to join Both my sister-inlaws have also been apart of this school.
I found it to be a golden opportunity to fulfill my childhood dream, as "teacher -teacher" was my favorite game! When I joined the school I use to teach English &later I taught business studies as I am a commerce student. I simply enjoyed myself, there island of satisfaction which is very important in everybody's life. In between | had taken a leave due to personal reason, that time I use to teach at my place to complete the course. When I was expecting my second child I took a leave, that time I was so touched by the students who had come up to me to congratulate & requested me to join as they were missing me. There were times that could not attend the class for which I use to feel very guilty because according to me we should do a thing with full dedication. This is the reason that I left the school & the last year as I had other priorities in life which need a lot of time.
My experience at Jain Vidyalaya has been very good cherished the time I spent there.I am very proud to be a part of this institute. It is my humble to all educated women to come forward and help in making this organization a better place. We need your help. Believe me try in once you will like it so much & somehow it will help you also.
My best wishes are always there for a very bright future.
धर्म सभा श्री श्वेताम्बर स्थानकवासी जैन सभा, कोलकाता की प्रमुख प्रवृत्ति धर्म सभा ने समस्त जैन बालक-बालिकाओं के ज्ञानवर्धन एवं धार्मिक संस्कार युक्त जीवन निर्माण के उद्देश्य से जैन धर्म सम्बन्धी प्रश्नोत्तर की प्रतियोगिता का एक कार्यक्रम
"धार्मिक क्वीज कॉन्टेस्ट, २००७' का आयोजन किया। - इसका प्रथम चरण दिनांक २७ मई, २००७ को आयोजित किया गया। इसमें लगभग १०० बच्चे लिखित परीक्षा में सम्मिलित हुए। इनमें से ५२ बच्चे सेमी फाइनल के लिए चुन गये। दूसरा चरण सेमी फाइनल ३ जून, २००७ को सम्पन्न हुआ। इसमें से २८ बच्चे फाइनल में पहुँचे। इन २८ बच्चों के चार-चार के सात ग्रुप का फाइनल दिनांक १० जून, २००७ को सम्पन्न हुआ। इसमें सुमतिनाथ दल के बच्चे प्रथम स्थान पर रहे एवं इन्हें रु. ११,१११/- का नगद पुरस्कार दिया गया। द्वितीय स्थान के अधिकारी "पद्म प्रभु दल' के बच्चे थे जिन्हें रु.५,१११/- के नकद पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया। तृतीय स्थान “अजितनाथ दल'' के बच्चों ने प्राप्त किया जिन्हें पुरस्कार स्वरूप रु. ३,१११/- की राशि प्रदान की गई। शेष चार दलों को रु. १,१११/- सान्त्वना पुरस्कार दिया गया।
यह सम्पूर्ण कार्यक्रम श्री श्वेताम्बर स्थानकवासी जैन सभा के उपाध्यक्ष श्री रिधकरणजी बोथरा एवं मंत्री श्री विनोदजी की प्रेरणा से धनराज अब्भानी, निश्चल कांकरिया एवं सुशील गेलड़ा के संयोजकत्व में सफलता पूर्वक सम्पन्न हुआ। क्वीज मास्टर की भूमिका श्रीमती कंचनदेवी कांकरिया ने निभाई। कार्यक्रम के अध्यक्ष तेरापंथ महासभा के अध्यक्ष श्री राजकरणजी सिरोहिया थे। उद्घाटनकर्ता थे श्री पन्नालालजी कोचर एवं प्रमुख अतिथि थे श्री रूपचन्दजी सावनसुखा तथा प्रधान वक्ता थीं श्रीमती तारादेवी दुगड़।
यह कार्यक्रम अत्यन्त सफल रहा एवं समाज पर इसका अच्छा असर पड़ा।
