Heartspeak and Heartlisten The Alliance for Spiritual Community hosts monthly workshops entitled Heartspeak and Heartlisten, which teach participants to speak and listen from the heart. Started seven years ago, these meetings equip participants with the conversational tools necessary for engaging others in a meaningful and effective way. Speaking from the heart is an opening of the sacred; it is a release of love and takes courage. It allows one to fully express his or her true self. Listening from the heart allows for silence, a reflection, and creates sacred space. Heartspeak and Heartlisten enable people to communicate with others with greater empathy, understanding, and intimacy - thus opening doors to a greater potential for harmony and creative engagement.
