This project helps to stimulate and strengthen the better, higher, nature of mankind, thereby helping the whole of humanity and the earth itself. White Eagle Lodge REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA Establishing the Vedanta Center of Atlanta After seven years of renting a home for itself, the Eternal Quest (Vedanta in Atlanta) has purchased property in order to establish the Vedanta Center of Atlanta. Spiritual education and scriptural study will be offered to any who is interested, and members uphold that this will foster mutual understanding and cooperation amongst the world's faiths. The center will also provide a base from which to encourage and support individuals to continue engaging in volunteer work throughout the city. Thus far, members of Vedanta congregations have been involved with the Community of Hospitality, a house of volunteers who are running a drug recovery program at Cafe 458 and Samaritan House in depressed areas of Atlanta. They have also been "Buddies" with AIDATLANTA for those with HIV and AIDS, and have supported the AIDS Walk and Hunger Walk. Lastly, the Eternal Quest Society has also delivered meals for Project Open Hand. The Eternal Quest Society USA A Circle of Respect: a Ritual to Welcome All SHEM Center for Interfaith Spirituality offers "A Circle Of Respect", a simple ritual that acknowledges the universe from which we come and the sacred earth upon which we walk. Recognizing that a rich and blessed diversity makes up our world, the ritual honors all spiritual paths and faith traditions. The SHEM Center begins all its events with this ritual, and it has been used with groups as small as three and as large as sixteen hundred. The Circle works to weave together different people into a web of respect, hap piness, love and friendship so that they might share with others. The goal is to discover and celebrate the similarities that underlie and unite all individuals. SHEM Center for Interfaith Spirituality USA S .
