Jewish Holiday Enhancement Program
Am Yisrael's Religious School students visit the Robineav Self Help Home for the Jewish Elderly on five or six Jewish holiday occasions throughout the year. Led by Cantor Stuart Simon, the children present a holiday program and socialize with residents in order to enhance their holiday observance. Am Yisrael Conservative Congregation

The Peace Pole Project
The Peace Pole Project is a global effort by thousands of individuals and groups worldwide. There are Peace Poles in over 200,000 locations around the world, with their ranks growing daily. They are used to dedicate towns, universities, libraries, parks and places of worship to world peace, in the spirit of the prayer "May Peace Prevail on Earth," which appears on all sides of the Peace Pole in many languages. It is highly replicable - the more the better! Peace Poles form a powerful network of prayers for peace, spanning the globe, giving everyone the opportunity to create and/or plant one.

Healing Hands to Croatia
During the Serbian occupation of Bosnia, an estimated 75,000 Muslim women were raped. The Center for Women's War Victims in Zagreb, Croatia was set up to assist at least some of the survivors. Mrs. Brown, a past victim of violent rape, offered her Reiki, a hands-on healing technique as spiritual support. In her three weeks stay in the Center, she demonstrated and taught spiritual healing techniques to the staff of the Center, so they could offer the healing to those in need. Her committee also raised private donations of $2,000 for the Center's use.

The One Earth One People initiative will honor American Indian prophecy for world peace with a world healing ceremony. Collectively, they hope to reconcile humanity's violence and heal the present with songs. A children's handprint peace quilt brings joy to our forgiveness prayers. Through this ceremony, they will work to purify their minds and hearts, and move forward in peace.

Thirteen Month New Moon Ritual of Reconciliation
Beginning in January 2000, on each of 13 consecutive New Moons, Labyrinth Dancing will light a 7-day candle charged with the intention that individuals in the group each recognize the love of the Divine in themselves and therefore in each other. At the end of these 13 months, the group will apply this accumulated energy toward a group action to manifest reconciliation tangibly in the world by planting a reconciliation tree, holding a festival, or signing a treaty.
