Volunteers extend support through offering gifts, counseling, and serving on committees Park Ridge Community Church USA Service to Humanity Through Travel Airline Ambassadors International (PAI) sponsors 1 - 5 humanitarian missions per month, and would like to dedicate these missions as a Gift of Service in recognition of the 1999 Parliament of the World's Religions. In 1998, AAI delivered $4 million worth of aid to countries including Cambodia, Brazil, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Haiti. Missions range from transporting supplies to war refugees in Albania to establishing medical Clinics in rural villages in Nepal. AAI is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to helping children in need at home and abroad. AAl relies on members to: hand deliver humanitarian aid to children in more than 20 countries, involve youth in programs to provide assistance and build cross-cultural friendships. escort orphans to new homes and children to hospitals for medical care, and participate in special events that increase international cooperation. Since its founding in December 1996, AAI has delivered over $4 million in humanitarian aid, involved over 60,000 children in our programs, escorted 500 children in need, and participated in over 50 special events. For every dollar donated, AAI has been able to arrange for the donation and delivery of over $100 worth of aid. The qualities that make the organization unique are its ability to establish long-term relationships between people in different countries and to deliver aid at extremely low cost. AAI recognizes that many would like to make a personal difference helping children around the world, but simply don't know how to get involved. Airline Ambassadors offers a way to match people's unique interests and talents with world need and bring compassion into action. AAI welcomes everyone to join as Ambassadors of Goodwill to help children in need.
