nirmaya Bhagavan devalokāvatirnah prathamam vanditaḥ sa tusṭā maya Bhagavan prathamam vanditaḥ. tasyaś ca [......] tam jñātvā srotapattiphalam praptam. etad darśayati. na matapitṛsambhavena sarirena varnitena vandito bhavami. yena phalam praptam tenäham vanditaḥ. etadartham eva ca tatra gathoktā.

anenapi kāraṇena dharma eva Bhagavataḥ sariram. yatha ca Bodhimulasütre Bhagavan Ayodhyāyām viharati. atha paścimesu janapadeṣu dvau bhiksu prativasataḥ sakhāyau. tau Bhagavaddarśanaya prasthitau mahāṭavyām prapannau trsārtābhyām tābhyām pāniyam praptam ekena tṛsitena pitam. dvitiya āha naham Bhagavataḥ śikṣām atikramiṣyami. aparisravam sapranakam etat pānīyam iti dharmaś ca Bhagavataḥ sariram tam anupalayatā drṣṭa eva maya Bhagavan 3 trsarto Bhagavantam namaskurvan kalagatah prasannacittas ca devesupapannah. dvitiyo bhiksuh saprāṇakam pānīyam pitvānupūrvyena bahubhir divasair Bhagavataḥ samipam gatah. sa ca devesupapanno bhiksuh purvam gatah. yena saprānakam pāniyam pitam tasya bhiksor Bhagavata matapitṛsambhavam sariram darsitam etan mama sariram pasya. sa ca devalokopapanno bhikṣur Bhagavatoktah darśaya sariram te. devaputrasariram divyam darsitam sa bhiksuḥ samvignaḥ prechati. Bhagavan kim idam Bhagavan aha. ya eşa devaputro 'nena tṛṣnārtena saprānakam udakam na pitam. maya yathokta sikṣā raksita. eṣa dvitiyo mātāpitrsambhavam sariram draṣtukāmah saprānakam paniyam pitvaitasya maya matapitṛsambhavam sariram darsitam. etac chariram pasya. yady anena kaścid guno na drsṭas tena ca mātāpitrsambhavam etac chariram drṣtam na tenaham drṣtaḥ. etadartham eva gathoktā.
