Descriptive account of the work Chitrakutadurge Mahāviraprāsīdu prasasti, occurring in the list of Jain Ms. given in Prof. Kathavate's report for the years 1891-95. This prasasti of the temple of Mahāvīra on the fort of Chitrakūta was composed by śrî Chăritraratnagani. It was copied in Sam. 1508 in the Prajapati cycle year.
The divine Vāsudeva in the opinion of Patanjali, is different from the Ksatriya Vāsudeva. (J.B.B.R.A.S., xxiii, 1914, Pp. 96 103) :
