Do, on a stone at Peggur of the Western Ganga king Rachamalla Parmanandi dated in Saka 899, Iśvara, refers to Rakkasa ruling Beddora-gare and to the gift of the villages Pergadur and Posavadage to Anantaviryyayya, a pupil of Guņasena-Pandita-Bhattāraka who was the pupil of Birasenasiddhantadeva, a resident of Belgoļa. Do, on a stone at Añjanagiri dated in Saka 1466, Krodhi, registers that Santikirtideva, a contemporary of Abhinavachárukirtipanditadeva of Belugula built of stone the wooden basadi which had been constructed on the top of the Anjanagiri hill for the saints Såtitirtheśvara and Anantanätha.
