No. 8. On the north and west walls of the central shrine in the Visnu temple at Dadapuram. (Tindivanam tāluq, South Arcot district). Chola. Rājakesarivarman alias Rājarăjadeva. 21st year, Tamil ; gives a list of vessels and ornaments presented to the temples of KundavaiJinālaya, etc., built by the princes Parāntakan Kundavai-pirattiyår.

P. 94. Reference in the Dādāpuram records to the erection of emples by the princess Kundavai, the sister of the Chola king Raja'rāja I. Besides the Siva and Visnu temples she built a Jina shrine called Kundavai Jinālaya, now extint.
