A Jain maiden married into a Vaisnava family has no scruple in entering a Vaişņava temple, while a Vaişnava girl would readily pay her respects to the Jain Yatis and always visit the Upāśrayas. Jainism have retained its hold on the Modhs and most of them returned to the Brāhmaṇical fold. In Gujarat, hardly any Jains, while in Central India, the Jains are few in number. P. 10.
