જંબુદ્વીપને ફરતે બે લાખ જેજનનો લવણ સમુદ્ર છે. તેમાં ચાર ચંદ્ર અને ચાર સૂર્ય છે. જંબુદ્દીપના ચુલ્લહિમવંત પર્વત ઉપરની ચાર દાતાઓ અને શિખરી પર્વતની ચાર દાતાઓ ઉપર છપન અંતરક્રિયા છે. ચાર મોટા પાતાલ કલશ છે. નાના પાતાલ કલશની પંક્તિઓ ઘણી છે. વચમાં દગમાલ એટલે પાણીની શીખા છે. લવણ સમુદ્રની પૂર્વ બાજુએ દગમાલની બહાર સૂર્યદ્વીપ છે. અને પશ્ચિમ બાજુએ ચંદ્વીપ. તથા તેની વચ્ચે એક ગેતમઠીપ છે. દગમાલની અંદર ચંદ્રદીપ, સૂર્યદીપ, તમદીપ, વેલંધરઠીપ અને અનુલંધરદ્વીપ છે. તેના ઉપર તે તે हेवतानी रापानी . जंबूद्वीपके चारों तरफ़ दो लाख योजनका लवण समुद्र है । उसमें चार चन्द्र और चार सूर्य हैं। जंबूद्वीपके चुल्लहिमवंत पर्वतकी चार गिरिशाखा और शिखरी पर्वतकी चार गिरिशाखाओंके ऊपर छप्पन अंतरद्वीप हैं। चार बडे पाताल कलश हैं । छोटे पाताल कलशोंकी पंक्तियाँ बहुत हैं। बीचमें दगमाल अर्थात् पानी की शिखा है। लवण समुद्र के पूर्व और दगमाल के बाहर, सूर्यद्वीप है और पश्चिमकी तरफ कद्वीप और उसके बीचमें एक गौतमद्वीप है । दगमाल के भीतर चंद्वीप सूर्यद्वीप, गौतमद्वीप, वेलंधरद्वीप और अनुबेलधर द्वीप हैं। उसके ऊपर उन उन देवतामोंकी राजधानीयाँ हैं । Lavan Samudra which measures two lacs of yojauas in extent and which encompases Jambūdvipa. There are four sups and four moous in it. There are fifty-six Antardvipas on the four Dādbās of Chulla Himvant which is in Jawbūdvipa and on the four Dādhãs of Sikhari mountain. It has four big Pātāl Kalašas. There are inany rows of small Pātāl kalašas. In the centre it has got Dagmāla. To the east of Lavan Samudra and outside the Dagmāla there is one Suryadvipa (Island of the Sun) as well as Chandradvipa in the west of it. There is also Gautamdvipa in the middle portion of Chaudradvipa (Island of the moou). Inside the Dagmāla there are Chaudradvipa, Suryadvipa, Gautamdvipa, Velaudhardvipa and Anuveland hardvipa. And on them there are the capitals of their presiding deities.
