by the sea and the sea by the island. The dimension of the next is twice as much as that of the former. This is the order which is observed upto Svayambhu Raman Samudra. In the first picture are seen the islands from Jambudvipa upto Nandidvipa, and the seas from Lavaṇsamudra upto Naudiśwara. The second picture shows seven islands from Arupadvipa upto Ruchakadvipa and seven seas from Arunodaka upto Ruchakodaka. The third picture exhibits Devadvipa, Nagadvipa, Yaksadvipa, Bhutadvipa aud Svayambhu Ramandvipa and also the seas of the same names. In the midst of it there are countless and seas as are manifested in the picture.
