Vais'eṣikasūtra
Atreya was a highly old leading Brahmin'. In the Vakyapadiyatika of Punyaraja we come across a reference to one Ravana who a grammarian. He may or may not be indentical with the Vais'eṣikabhāṣyakāra.

The next work of importance is the Tika of Prasasta or Prasastamati. Unfortunately for us it is also lost. We have already seen that Mallavadin and Simhasuri regard it as a commentary on the Vaisesikabhaṣya and it seems to have covered the Sutras, the Vakya and the Bhasya. Mallavadin profusely quotes passages from this elaborate sub-commentary and devotes a large section in the Seventh Ara' to the refutation of Pras'astamati's views. Mallvädin's treatment clearly points out that the Tika of Prasastamati was regarded as one of the standard Vais'eşika works at the time". Pras as'ta also criticised the Jaina views in this work1.
Some Vais esika views of Prasastamati have been referred to by Santarakṣita in his Tattvasamgrah and the corresponding extracts have actually been quoted by Kamalasila in the Tattvasamgrahapanjika. Abhayadeva in his Sanmatitika is found to reproduce some of these fragments". These refer to the problems of God, Samavaya and Visesa. Two of these are identical both in sense and language with the passages in Prasastapada's Padarthadharmasamgraha. This goes to prove that this Prasastamati is
