तेजपुज रवि है मलो, न्यायनीति गुणवान,
ताको सुजस है जगत मे, तपे दूसरी मान ॥ तिनह जु नगर बसाइयो, नाम भरतपुर तास ।
सा गजा समदिष्टि है, पर विच्यार उपवास ।।
Manna Lala, a scholar of Jaipur wrote "Caritrastra" in the year 1814 A.D. and at the end of the, work he describes Jaipur as follows
तहा सवाई जयपुर नाम, लसत नगर रचना अभिराम । वह जिन मन्दिर सहित मनोग्य, मान सुरगण बमने जोग्य ॥४॥ जगतसिंह राजा तसु जान, कपत प्ररिमन करे प्रनाम । तेजदत सवतन विशाल, रीझत गुनजन करत निहाल ॥५॥
Jagat Răm, the writer of 'Padmanandı Panca-vinsati' writes about Aurangzeb:
नवखड मे जाकी पान, तेजवत दीपै जिम मान । राज करे श्रीप्रवरगसाहि, जाकै नहीं किसी परवाहि ।।
Lohat a famous poet of Hindi literature completed his Yaśodhar Caupai in the year 1664 A. D. He gave some description of the Raja of Būndi named Bhāvsingh in the following way .
बदी इन्द्रपुरी जखिपुरी कि कुवेरपुरी,
रिद्धि सिद्धि भरी द्वारिका सी धरी घर मे। धोलहर धाम घर घर मे विचित्र वाम,
नर कामदेव जैसे मेवे सुखसर मे। वापी वाग बारूण बाजार वीथी विद्या वेद,
विबुध विनोद बानी बोले मुखि नर मे । तहां कर राज भावम्यघ महाराज,
हिन्दुधर्म लाज पातिमाही प्राज कर में ।
