In the Chalukya lineage, Jayasirinhavallabba [1.]; his son Rapariga; his son Polekesin [1.] (acquired Vätapipuri); his son Kirtivarman [I.] (defeated the Naļas, Mauryas and Kadambas); his younger brother Mangaldea (defeated the Katachchuris and took Revatidvipa); Kirtivarman's son Poleksin (II.) Satyasraya (was at war with Appåyika and Govinda; besieged Vanavasi; subdued the Gangas, Aļupas, and the Mauryas in the Konkaņas; besieged Puri; subdued the Latas, MAlayas and Gurjaras; defeated Harsha [of Kanauj]; conquered the three Maharashtra kas; was at war with the Kalingas and Kosaļas; took Pishtapura; fought at the Kaunala, s.e. Kolleru lake ; defeated the Pallavas of Kanchipura; crossed the river Kaveri and caused prosperity to the Cholas, Keralas and Påndyas).
