Ganga Erey apparasa lent to Ayyapadeva for the purpose of fighting against Virsmahendralo a force collected and commanded by the leader of the Någattaras, that this commander was killed, and that then Ereyapa appointed Iruga to the leadership of the Nagnttaras and made a grant to him.
