So it is a sacred call to all Ayurvedic scholars to come together in a team work with all devotion and dedication and take up the task and responsibility with all seriousness and spirit of sacrifice. Let there be no loss of time and all be ready to work with all heart till the object is rightly achieved.
A good number of scholars have already taken up the self-accepted responsibility and they are to be congratulated for doing this spade work.
The present author Vaidyaraj Shri Raghuvir Prasad Trivedi is a teacher in one of the pioneer institutions of Ayurvedic education. He has wide experience of teaching. He knows the present need of the students. Taking initiative from this, and combining it with appreciable diligence admirable perseverance and wide scholarship he has succeeded to place before the medical world a huge volume on ‘Prakriti Vikriti Vignana'. He has thus contributed his share creditably to the cause of medical education.
The book will be useful not only to Ayurvedic students but also to the students of the modern science; as in a few years all medical colleges of the modern science shall have to give instruction in Hindi Language. This is the first work of its type. It is prepared under the difficult circumstances mentioned above. Meanings and interpretations may have to be modified or even changed in future editions which is usual in all such publications.
It is a great credit, compliment and gratification to the author that his first endeavour will definitely serve as all important and useful basis for the further progressive publications on the subject.
