Jivashcha. Jivas (or souls are) also (substances and extensive ones)
SUTRA 4 नित्यावस्थिनान्यरूपाणि ॥ ४ ॥
Nitya vasthitanya rupani (The above 5 extensive substances are ) permanent in their nature, (and with w Kala, time, are) Gxed (as the sole constituents of the Universe,) (and are) devoid of touch, taste, smell and colour, (1. e. are at Arupi).

Rupinah pudgalaha. (But) matter (is) Rupi, 2. e. has touch, taste, smell and colour)
