Chapter 67 : Part 1
THE THREE TREASURES
All the world says: my teaching (Tao) greatly resembles folly. Because it is great; therefore it resembles folly. If it did not resemble folly, It would have long ago become petty indeed! I have Three Treasures; Guard them and keep them safe: The first is love. The second is, never too much. The third is, never be the first in the world. Through love, one has no fear; Through not doing too much, one has amplitude (of reserve porver);
Through not presuming to be the first in the world, One can develop one's talent and let it mature.

सब संसार कठता है: मेरा उपदेश (ताओ) मूढ़ता से बहुत मिलता-जुलता है। क्योंकि यह महान है, इसलिए यह मूढ़ता से मिलता-जुलता है। और यदि मूढ़ता जैसा नहीं लगता, तो यह कब का तुच्छ हो गया होता। मेरे तीन रखजाने हैं, उन पर पठरा दो, और उन्हें सुरक्षित रनवो। पठलाह: प्रेमा दूसरा ह: अति कभी नहीं। तीसरा : संसार में प्रथम कभी मत ठो। प्रेम के जरिए आदमी अभय को उपलब्ध होता है। अति नहीं करने से आदमी के पास आरक्षित शक्ति का अतिरेक होता है। और संसार में प्रथम ठोने की धृष्टता नहीं करने से आदमी अपनी प्रतिभा का विकास कर सकता हूँ और उसे प्राँद बना सकता है।
