(ii) Another point to be noted here is that in this work the side-by-side usage of Sanskrit equivalents of some of the Prakrit words is also found. Hence such Prakrit words, along with the native ones, may represent the colloquial element in the author's expression. Vide Nisidhi and Gudda, by J.F.Fleet, Indian Antiquary, Vol.XII, pp.99-104. Bhadrabahu | is said to have submitted himself to Samadhimarana by undergoing this vow: Aradhanā, Sholapur edition, gahā No.1544.
