લાગી છે. કેમકે જેન વૃષ્ટિને એ વાત તે સહસ્ત્ર ઈંગ્લંડમાં પ્રકટ થતા “પોલમેલ ગેઝિટ ” વર્ષો થયાં જાણવામાં છે. ડેકટર બેઝ ધાતુ માં પ્રખ્યાત પાશ્ચાત્યવિજ્ઞાનવેત્તા ડેકટર સેલીઆદિમાં જીવનું અસ્તિત્વ જે પ્રકારે સ્વીકારે બીએ સી. ડબલ્યુ. એસ. ની સહીથી “ડોકટર છે તે પ્રકારમાં તેને હજુ કાંઈપણ ફેરફાર કરવા બેઝની શોધ માટે અત્યંત પ્રશંસા કરતાં પડશે. એમ જોત દ્રષ્ટિએ લાગે છે. આત્માની એક લેખ લખે છે, જેમાં ડોકટર બાઝની પડે પરમાણુઓની શક્તિઓ પણ અનંત છે, શોધ માટે આ પ્રમાણે જણાવે છે – અને એ અનંત શક્તિઓ એવી છે કે જે
એક વિજ્ઞાન(Science) અને બીજા માત્ર શુદ્ધ નિર્મલ આત્મત્વ પામેથી અનુભવ
વિજ્ઞાન વચ્ચે કેટલા બધા ફુલ, કૃત્રિમ, અને ગોચર થાય છે. ધાતુ આદિમાં જીવ છે, એ તે
સંકુચિત અવરોધો રહેલા છે, એવું જોઈ જૈન “પૃથ્વીકાયછવ” માને છે તેથી સિદ્ધ છે;
શકનાર વિદ્વાનોમાં પ્રખ્યાત નર સામ્પ્રત સપરંતુ એ જીવ ક્યારે યવન પામે છે, ક્યારે જન્મે છે, કયારે મરણ પામે છે તે જાણવાનું મયમાં એક હિંદવાસી પદાર્થવિજ્ઞાનશાસ્ત્રી અને હજી ડેકટર બેઝ માટે રહે છે. એમ લાગે છે કલકત્તાની યુનિવર્સિટીના પ્રોફેસર જગદિશચંદ્ર કે ડોકટર બોઝ થવનાદિના વિષયમાં પ્રવેશ બેઝ છે. પશ્ચિમ યુરોપમાં લિખિત ભાષા પ્રચાકરે, તે પરમાણુઓ અને જીવ બનેની ભિન્ન રમાં આવી તે પહેલાં આર્યો કે જેમણે ભિન્ન અનંત શક્તિ છે, અને તે ભિન્ન ભિન્ન બરાબર કહીએ તો કેટલાક યુગે પહેલાં જગત
અનંત શક્તિઓ વચ્ચે તેઓ જે તફાવત ને જાહેર કર્યું હતું કે સત્ય એક–અદ્વિતીય પાડે છે તે કરતાં વિશેષ પાડવો જોઈએ, એમ છે. ( આ ઋવેદ પરથી પ્રત્યક્ષ થાય છે ) તે તેઓને પ્રતીત થાય.
આર્યોમાંના એક ઉક્ત વિદ્વાન છે. સાત વર્ષ Notable at the present day amongst those who see how puny and artificial and cramping are the accepted barriers between the sciences in an Indian physicist, Professor Jagadish Chandra Bose of the University of Calcutta- who belongs, appropriately enough, to the race which declared, ages before Western Europe had a written language at all, that “the Real is One," as the Rig Veda has it. Seven years ago, Dr. Bose began the inquiries into response in the living, (and the not-living.) which he has now carsied a long state further in his book. "Comparative Electro-Physiology," just published by Messrs. Longmans, Green and Co. The general purport of Dr. Bose's former work was to show that reactions formerly thought to be peculiar to the living muscular tissue of animals are in a large measure to be detected in vegetable,-tissues and also in inorganic matter-strips of tin, and what not. Living matter, animal or vagetable, is matter, and displays molecular reactions similar to those involved in, for instance, the fatigue of a razor-which, as Dr. Boge seems to have shown is probably more than analogous to the fatigue of a nerve. By means of the most delicate apparatus, which is strictly self-recording, Dr. Bose has been able to confirm and extend his inquiries latterly in a very remarkable fashion, and it is interesting to learn that he is about to discuss some of his results before the psychologists in Germany.
