२६-'सद् दब्बं वा'-मग० सत्-पद प्ररूपणा २५-उत्पाद, व्यय और प्रौव्य को मातृप दिका कहते हैं ! २८-द्रव्यानु० • ६२ २६-द्रव्यं नित्यमाकृतिरनित्या । सुवर्ण कदाचिदाकृत्या युक्तः पिण्डो मवति, पिण्डाकृतिमुपमथ स्त्रकाः क्रियन्ते,. , रुचकाकृतिमुपमृय कटकाः क्रियन्ते, कटकाकृतिमुपमृय स्वस्तिकाः क्रियन्ते । पुनरावृतः सुवर्णपिण्डः ।......... श्राकृतिरन्या चान्या च भवति, द्रव्यं पुनस्तदेव । आकृत्युपमर्दैन द्रव्यमेवावशिष्यते। -पा० यो
वर्धमानकभंगे च रुचकः क्रियते यदा। तदापूर्वार्थिनः शोकः प्रातिश्चाप्युत्तरार्थिनः ॥ १॥ हेमार्थिनस्तु माध्यस्थ्यं, तस्माद्वस्तु प्रयात्मकम् । नोत्यादस्थितिभंगानामभावे स्यान्मतित्रयम ॥२॥ न नाशेन बिना शोको, नोत्पादेन बिना सुखम् । ‘स्थित्या बिना न माध्यस्थ्यं, तेन सामान्यनित्यता ॥ ३॥

I am quite sure that you have heard of ETHER before now, but please do not confuse it with tbe liquid Ether used by surgeons, to render a patient unconscious for an operation. If you should ask me just what the Ether is, that is, the etber that conveys electromadgaetio-waves. I would answer that. I can not accurately describe it. Nither can anyone else. The best that anyone could do would be to say that Ether is an invisible body and that through it electormagnetic-waves oan be propagated.
