Sakra, the lord of the Devil, and Brahmi, assuming the form of pupils and sitting in front in that Brálunanical assemblay, recited the following Gáthás: . "So that the world may become hapry and all catastrophes may be removed this prosperity, the resturer of peace on earth, was born. (1). "Evon as the light of the sun and the moon and the gods beshrdet ly crkness cannot shine, so for certain (it fails on) the rising of the light of virtue..(2). «lle. hy whose birth in this priun the eyeless lave come to see, the deaf to hear, and the insane have regiuned their memory, (3). “ by the birth of wlich friendly person paine have ceased to afflict,---verily lar will be wortlıy of the idorations of tons of millions of Brahmanis.
