कसिणं पि जो इमं लोयं
पडिपुन्नं दलेज्ज एक्कस्स । तेणावि से ण संतुस्से
इइ दुप्पूरए इमे आया ॥
Even if the whole rich world is given to one man, he will not be satisfied with that. It is extremely difficult to get all the desires of a man fulfilled.
यदि कोइ किसी को समृद्धि से परिपूर्ण यह पूरा लोक भी दे दे, तो भी वह उस से संतुष्ट नहीं होगा । जीव की तृष्णा इतनी दुष्पूर होती है ।
જો કોઈ એક માણસને સમૃદ્ધિથી પૂર્ણ એવો આખો લોક આપી દેવામાં આવે તો પણ તેને એનાથી સંતોષ થશે નહિ. જીવની તૃષ્ણા આવી રીતે સંતોષાવી ઘણી કઠિન છે.
