Truth
These values are the basis for the conduct of house-hold life 'Aṇuvrata' form and they are 'viewed as Mahāvrata-form for the Śrävakas in their rra for the medicants or the Munies. The ideal family is viewed in terms of observance of these five small vows, Jain Agamas prescribe six acts for the ideal family life. These are-
Worship of the Gods
The respect for the Guru
Reading of the scriptures
Self restraint
Non-stealing
Celibacy; and
Non Possession or the minimal Possession of the objects of requirement.
