Mr. Männer gives Kalkuda and Vorte as synonyms for Kallusti, and the following geographical notes of places mentioned in this important legend. Kallatta Mârnâd is N-E. of Mangalore. Belgula, Belůr and Nagar are in Mysore. Kollur, Karkala, Yênär, and Ubâr = Upparangadi are in South Kanara. And as to the great images of Gomatesvara mentioned in the text he gives a reference to Buchanan's Mysore, Vol. II. Ch. XV.
