The original text of the Nirayavaliya has linked the whole episode with Vihalla, The Nirayāya a commentary, the Bhagavati commentary, Bharates'vara-Bahubali-vrtti, etc., make use of both the names. According to the Anuttarovavaiya, Vihalla and Vehayasa were the sons of Celana, and Halla the son of Dharini. According to the Nirayavaliya-vrtii and Bhagavati-vrtti, both Halla and Vihalla were born of Celana. This is worthy of research, (132) It is said that the money value of the elephant and the necklace was as much as the value of Srenika's kingdome. (Avasyak Curni, Second Half, p.167).
