Those acting as concealment for the five jñāna-types mati etc.—They are the five sub-types of jñānavarana. 7.
Those acting as concealment for the four darśana-types caksur-, acaksur-, avadhi—and kevala-darśana, as also the five to be experienced in the form of nidrā, nidrānidrā, pracalā, pracalāpracalā, and styānagrddhi—these are the nine sub-types of darśanamohanīya. 8.
That to be experienced in the form of pleasure and that to be experienced in the form of pain-these are the two subtypes of vedanīya.. 9.
Darśana-mohanīya, cāritramohanīya, kaṣāyavedaniya, and nokasāyavedaniya-these sub-types (and still lower divisions) of mohanīya are respectively of 3, 2, 16 and 9 kinds. Samyaktva, mithyātva and a combination of two (i.e. Samyak-mithyātva) — these are the three kinds of darśanamohaniya, kasāya and nokaṣāya-these are the are the two kinds of cāritramohanīya.. Of these, kasāyacāritramohanīya is further divided into sixteen kinds—viz. anger, pride, deceit and greed, each of these four divided into four kinds—viz. anantānubandhin, apratyākhyānāvaraṇa, pratyākhyānāvaraṇa and sañjvalana. Similarly, nokasāyacāritramohaniya is further divided into nine kinds-viz. hāsya, rati, arati, soka, bhaya, jugupsā, strīveda, puruṣaveda and napussakaveda. 10.
Nāraka, tiryak, manusya and deva-these are the four subtypes of āyuş. 11.
Gati, jāti, śarīra, angopānga, nirmāņa, bandhana, sanghāta, śaṁsthāna, samhanana, sparśa, rasa, gandha, varņa, ānupūrvī, agurulaghu, upaghāta, parāghāta, ātapa, uddyota, ucсhvāsa, vihāyogati, the ten couples-of-opposite—viz. sādhāraņā and pratyeka, sthāvara and trasa, durbhaga and subhaga, duḥsvara and susvara, aśubha and śubha, bādara and sūksma, aparyāpta and paryāpta, asthira and sthira, anādeya and ādeya, ayaśas and yasas-, tirthankaratva-these are the fourtytwo sub-types of nāmakarma. 12.
