________________ 21 [ Sūkşmabuddhyāśrayaņāșțakam ] sūkşmabuddhyā sadā jñeyo dharmo dharmārthibhirnaraiḥ. anyathā dharmabuddhyaiva tadvighātaḥ prasajyate. grhītvā glānabhaişajyapradānābhigraham yathā. tadaprāptau tadante'sya śokaṁ samupagacchataḥ. Virtuous persons should always reflect upon the righteousness minutely, otherwise its misapprehension mars the virtue itself. As a monk, having resolved to give the medicine to a patient is aggrieved, at the end if the patient is not available. gļhīto’bhigrahaḥ śreștho glāno jāto na ca kvacit. aho me'dhanyatāṁ kaștam na siddhamabhivāñchitam. The monk feels my resolution is excellent but as no body fell ill my resolute remained unaccomplished, alas my misfortune is painful. evaṁ hyetatsamādānaṁ glānabhāvābhisandhimat. sādhūnāṁ tattvato yattad duştaṁ jñeyaṁ mahātmabhih. Certainly, this kind of resolution of monks, desiring the sickness, infact, be considered vicious by great souls. Jain Education International For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
