Hearing people talk about G.'s prophecy (see C7 above) Siha, one of Mv.'s disciples, becomes very anxious. Mv. sends for him and comforts him, repeating that he will yet live for another fifteen years and a half. He orders Siha to go to the woman Revai at Mendhiyagama and ask her to send the cock killed by the cat to Mv. instead of the two pigeons she was preparing for him. After having eaten the cock Mv. immediately regains his health. Jain Education International For Mendhiyagama HOERNLE has Miḍhiyagama. The exact situation of the place is not known.
