स त्रिंशदब्दः पुरुषोत्तमोऽथ
संन्यासरूपामुपयाति दीक्षाम् । सुविस्मितास्तत्समयाः परेऽपि
सन्तस्तपस्तस्य विलोक्य घोरम ॥ ५४ ॥
ત્રીશ વર્ષની ઉમ્મરે એ મહાનુભાવ સંન્યાસરૂપ (સર્વવિરતિરૂપ, દીક્ષા અંગીકાર કરે છે. તેમને ઘેર તપ જઈ તે કાળના બીજા મહાન સન્ત પણ પ્રબ અજાયબ થાય છે.
When He was thirty years of age, He became an ascetic, where all attachments are said to cease. Other great saints of His age were wonderstruck at His practice of the most terrible austerities.
