धर्माशयात स्वार्थकृते च हिंसा
विधीयमानां प्रचुरां समन्तात् ! सोऽपामितुं दुर्गतिहेतुभूता
मान्दोलनं ज्ञानमयं ततान : ६ ।।
તે મહાપુરુષે ધર્મબુદ્ધિથી અને સ્વાર્થને માટે (વિષયલુપતાથી) કતી દુર્ગતિકારક હિંસાના બહુ વ્યાપી પ્રચારને નાબૂદ કરવા જ્ઞાનમય આન્દોલન ફેલાવ્યું હતું.
