Introduction
Tippanaka commentary by santyācārya as also the learned commentary by Shri Vijayalāavaṇyasūari. But this advantage seems to have been unfortunately balanced by their lack of the sense of editorial exactitude which consists not only in not unduly correcting the text, except of course if the corrections are expressly pointed out to be as such, but also in striving utmost to see through the apparent inconsistency of the reading as it stands in the manuscript and in finding out whether it is authentic or really incorrect.
