________________ 20 तिलकम जरी The calligraphy of this Ms. seems to be pretty old and resembles that of the V Ms., and it is on the basis of the style of writting that it seems to have been written in the 15th century of the Vikrama Era. It belongs to a different tradition of the Ms., as can be deduced from the selection of the readings and from the scribal mistakes copied therein. The scribe of this Ms. seems to be very careful in distinguishing his 'Pa' from 'Ya', 'Va' from 'Ca', and 'Dha' from 'Sva', though he scrupulouslb copies the mistakes of the Adarja in reading 'Va' for 'Ca', Ta' for 'Na', 'Ya' for Pa' in conjunctions, and in 'Ne', 'Tr', etc. It is the text tradition of this manuscript that seems to have been followed by the editors of the Botad edition of the TM. 6. The Bhandarkar Institute Ms. (the B Ms.): This is a Paper Ms. preserved in the Manuscripts Library of the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute, Poona. It is numbered 791 of 1895-1902 13 (New No. 12) and is noticed by Professor H.D. Velankar in the Jina-ratna-kosa. The details of this Ms. are as follows: : Tilakamañjari.
