In Brāhmanical religion, the order of different Aśramas is the most conspicious idea and Kalidāsa, the follower of Brāhmanical religion has elevated the second of these Aśramas. viz Gșhastha Āśrama (i. e, the life of a house-holder ) to a high place. In order to sanctify the institution of marriage, Kalidasa in his Kumāra Sambhava has described the marriage-procession of Mabādeva and Pårvatî, Similarly in Ragbu-Vaṁsa. Kālidāsa has described, with all the wealth of his poetic imagery, the marriage-prncession of King Aja, and has depicted a vivid and clever picture of the eagerness of the women of the city in witnessing this procession %. Asava-Ghoșa in his own poem has depicted a similar picture. S A. similar vivid picture
