________________ प्रशमरतिप्रकरणम् (A monk) in the first (stage) annihilates the passions which last for the whole of life. (Then in the second stage he) destroyes the root cause of terrible wrong belief (and then in the third) annihilates the mixture of some degree of belief and some of Right Faith. 259. सम्यक्त्वमोहनीयं क्षपयत्यष्टावतः कषायांश्च । क्षपयति ततो नपुंसकवेदं स्त्रीवेदमथ तस्मात् ॥२६॥ Then in the fourth stage) he destroyes delusion which covers the Right Faith, (then in fifth) eight kinds of passions and then in sixth) the neuter and female sex passions. 260 हास्यादि ततः षट्कं क्षपयति तस्माच्च पुरुषवेदमपि । संज्वलनानपि हत्वा प्राप्नोत्यथ वीतरागत्वम् ॥२६१॥ (Then in the seventh stage) he annihilates the six kinds of semipassions. (Then in 8th) annihilates male sex passions. (Then in9th) annihilating the intense passions, attains the state of desirelessness. 261. सर्वोद्घातितमोहो निहतक्लेशो यथा हि सर्वज्ञः । भात्यनुपलक्ष्यराहंशोन्मुक्तः पूर्णचन्द्रः इव ।।२६२।। (Then, he who has) completely destroyed the delusion, freed himself from sorrow, shines like a perfect omniscient and full moon free from clutches of Rahu. 262. सर्वेन्धनकराशीकृतसन्दीप्तो ह्यनन्तगुणतेजाः । ध्यानानलस्तपः प्रशमसंवरहविर्विवृद्धबलः ॥२६३॥ क्षपकश्रेणिपरिंगतः स समर्थः सर्वकर्मिणां कर्म । क्षपयितुमेको यदि कर्मसङ्क्रमः स्यात्परकृतस्य ॥२६॥ (A monk) who has ascended the Kșapaka śreņi (in which all delusions are annihilated) through his firely meditation which is unflamed by hip of fuels, infinite splendid and enhanced power, by offering oblations in the form of austerity, detachment and stoppage of inflow of Karma, is capable of destroying Karma of all Jivas, if transition of Karmas of others are possible. 263-264.
