There will be mailed to you in the course of a week an appointment as a member of the Advisory Council of the Parliament of the Religions to be held in Chicago in 1893. In the meantime the Chairman instructs me to ask you if you will kindly forward to me at your earliest convenience two photographs of your-self and a short sketch of your life. These are to preparing the illustrated accounts of representatives of the great faiths of the world.
