________________ मातेव श्रहिंसेव श्रहिंसा भवभ्रमिरुगार्त्तानामहिंसा Meaning: Like a mother, ahimsa is always beneficial. It is like a river of nectar in the dry land of worldly existence. It is like a multitude of clouds in the rainy season, showering water on the conflagaration of miseries. It is as if it were an excellent medicinal herb for those who are afflicted with the disease in the form of wanderings in the wordly existence. सर्वभूतानामहिंसा हितकारिणी । संसारमरावमृतसारणिः ॥ ५० ॥ हि दुःखदावाग्निप्रावृषेण्यघनावली । परमौषधिः ॥ ५१ ॥ दीर्घमायुः परं रूपमारोग्यं श्लाघनीयता । अहिंसायाः फलं सर्वं किमन्यत् कामदेव सा ।। ५२ ।। Meaning: Long life, supreme beauty, good health, praiseworthiness are the fruits of ahimsa. What else? It is, verily, the wish-yielding cow. and Truth मन्मनत्वं कालत्वं मूकत्वं मुखरोगिताम् । वीक्ष्यासत्यफलं कन्यालीकाद्य सत्यमुत्सृजेत् ॥ ५३ ॥ Meaning : Mumbling, ununderstandable muttering, dumbness, and diseases of the mouth are the fruits of speaking untruth.
