________________ श्रात्मधिया समुपात्तः कायादिः कीर्त्यतेऽत्र बहिरात्मा । कायादेः समधिष्ठायको भवत्यन्तरात्मा चिद्रपानन्दमयो निःशेषोपाधिवजितः शुद्धः । प्रत्यक्षोऽनन्तगुणः परमात्मा कीर्तितस्तज्ज्ञैः ||८|| तु ॥७॥ Meaning: That which involves itself with the body and its attachments is called the extrovert consciousness. That which considers body as a temporary dwelling, medium, and instrument is called the intro - vert consciousness. That which is the embodiment of ultimate knowledge and bliss, devoid of outward physical attributes, incomprehensible to senses, clear as crystal, and having infinite virtue is called the Pure soul by the wise. पृथगात्मानं कायात्पृथक् च विद्यात्सदात्मनः कायम् । उभयोर्भेदज्ञाताऽऽत्मनिश्चये न स्खलेद् योगी ॥६॥ Meaning The yogi, who believes the soul as different from the body and vice versa, never falters in determining and percieving the true nature of the soul. 254 श्रन्तः पिहितज्योतिः सन्तुष्यत्यात्मनोऽन्यतो मूढः । तुष्यत्यात्मन्येव हि बहिनि तभ्रमो योगी ॥ १०॥ Meaning: The ignorant, whose spiritual light is enveloped by the karmas, derive pleasure from material objects. Whereas, the yogis who are free of delusion of mundane things, remain engrossed in the bliss of their own soul.
