Meaning: In this manner, one should enter the body of a dead person through breath of the left artery. The subject of entering into the bodies of the living beings is not touched upon here on account of the fear of sin.

ब्रह्मरंध्रण निर्गत्य प्रविश्यापानवर्त्मना । श्रित्वानाभ्यम्बुजं यायात् हृदम्भोजं सुषुम्णया ।। १ ।। तत्र तत्प्राणसंचारं निरुन्ध्या भिजवायुना । यावद्देहात्ततो देही गतचेष्टो विनिष्पतेत् ॥ २ ॥ तेन देहे विनिर्मुक्ते प्रादुर्भूतेन्द्रियक्रियः । वर्त्तेत सर्वकार्येषु स्वदेह इव योगवित् ॥ ३ ॥ दिनार्धं वा दिनं चेति क्रीडेत्परपुरे सुधीः । श्रनेन विधिना भूयः प्रविशेदात्मनः पुरं ॥ ४ ॥
