turbines and other equipments it became electricity. In the language of philosophy, one would see that in this process the energy was the Upādāna cause (substantive cause), and engineers, labor force, etc., are not the causes in the true sense, they are just like instruments and are named as instrumental cause (Nimiita cause).
In the next stanza we would find some description on the basis of the relative point of view.
जीवपरिणामहेतुं कम्मत्तं पोग्गला परिणमति ।
पोग्गलकम्मणिमित्तं तहेव जीवो वि परिणमदि ॥80॥
विकुव्वदि कम्मगुणे जीवो कम्मं तहेव जीवगुणे । अण्णोष्णणिमित्तेण दु परिणामं जाण दोन्हं पि ॥1॥ देण कारण दु कत्ता आदा सएण भावेण । पोग्गलकम्पकदाणं ण दु कत्ता सव्वभावाणं ॥ 821

Jivapariņāmahedum kammattam poggalā parinamanti. Poggalakammanimittam taheva jivo vi parinamadi. ||80|| Na vi kuvvadi kammagune jīvo kammam taheva jīvaguṇe. Annonnanimittena du parināmam jāna donham pi. || 87 || Edeņa kāraṇeņa du kattā ādā saeņa bhāveṇa. Poggalakammakadānam na du kattā savvabhāvānam ||2||
परिणामहेतुं कर्मत्वं पुदगलाः परिणमति । पुद्गलकर्मनिमित्तं तथैव जीवोऽपि परिणमति ॥8०॥ नापि करोति कर्मगुणान् जीवः कर्म तथैव जीवगुणान् । अन्योन्यनिमित्तेन तु परिणामं जानीहि द्वयोरपि॥81॥ एतेन कारणेन तु कर्ता आत्मा स्वकेन भावेन । पुद्गलकर्मकृतानां न तु कर्ता सर्वभावानाम् ॥82॥
Pudgala (matter/energy) transform into Kärmika matter [of eight kinds] by Nimitta of Jiva's actions. A Jīva also undergoes changes by Nimitta of Pudgala Karma. [80]
Jiva cannot produce any attribute of Karmika matter and Kärmika matter cannot produce any attribute of Jīva. One should learn that in their transformations they are Nimitta to each other [81]
