Sampradāna Kāraka: See Kāraka.
Samyag Darśana: (Also known as SamyakDarśana, Samkita, Samyaktva) Right belief; One of the three gems of the path of liberation.

S.imyagjñāna: (Also known as SamyakJñāna) Right knowledge; One of the three gems of the path of liberation. Samyag Căritra: (Or SamyakCāritra) Right conduct; One of the three gems of the path of liberation.
Samyaktva: See Samyag Darśana.
Samyama: Self restraint; Abstinence; Care and protection of living beings; Control over senses.
Samhanana: Skeletal structure. Samjñā: One of 14 subjects of investigation (MārgaņāSthāna) to describe living beings.
Samklesa-Sthāna: Intense Kaşāya leads to heavy soiling of the soul. This characteristic is known as Samkleśa-Sthāna.
Samsthāna: Bodily configuration.
Samvara: Stopping of Kärmika influx.
Samyama-Labdhi-Sthāna: Samyama means restraint in consumption and sensual pleasures and activities that disturb the self and others. Labdhi means gain. Sthāna means place or position. Samyama-Labdhi-Sthāna indicates the level of the development of spiritual conduct or self restraint.
Sayogi Kevali: Arahanta; An omniscient soul with physical body.
Sādhu: Saint or saint-like person.
Siddha: A liberated soul; An omniscient soul without physical body.
