पंचनमोक्कारमंगलसुत्तं
नमो अरिहंताणं। Salutations to (all) the Arihantas.' 741 PAGTUTI Salutations to (all) the Siddhas.?
Salutations to (all) The Ācāryas. नमो आयरियाणं।
Salutations to (all) Upādhyāyas. नमो उवज्झायाणं। Salutations to (all) the Sādhus in the नमो लोए सव्वसाहूणं। Cosmos.'
These five salutations together एसो पंच नमुक्कारो।
destroy all the sins; and they are the मंगलाणं च सव्वेसिं| most auspicious of all that is good and GH 35
auspicious.
1. “Arihantas” - These are all the souls who have reached-Kevala Jñāna or Omniscience and possess the twelve unique qualities in this bodily life and as a result of which, who have preached and are preaching the way to liberation to all beings. 2. “Siddhas” - These are all the souls who have liberated themselves and therefore are said to have reached Mokșa.. 3. “Ācāryas" - These are all the souls till date who have shown and are showing the way to the right conduct. 4. "Upādhyāyas” - These are all the souls till date who have given and are giving knowledge. 5. “Sādhus" - These are all the souls till date who have done and are doing the various activities that are shown as lying on the path of Liberation. These activities are known as Sādhanā.
