'viyarāge' tyādi, upaśāntāḥ-pradeśato'pyavedyamānāḥ kaşāyā yasya yasmin vā sa tathā sadhuḥ samyamo veti. (Sthā 2.114 Vr Pa 49) Vicipatha That path, by following which the Jiva (soul) becomes associated with (i.e. vitiated by) Kaşāya (passions). kaşāyāņām jivasya ca sambandho viciśabdavācyaḥ tataśca vicimataḥ kaṣāyavato.....
