cters; big, clear and fair hand-writing ; borders ruled in two lines in red ink, white paste used : numbers for foll. 1-25 entered twice as usual; the rest numbered once in the right-hand margin ; fol. 1a blank; some foll. revised and corrections entered in margins; both the text and its 15 commentary complete ; the former contains 20 cantos; the latter 17574 šlokas in entext composed in Samvat 1312
in Palanpur. Age.- Samvat Allai 41. Author of the text - Kalikālasarvajña Hemacandra Sūri. For his

FUIDE SIETT". Subject.— The text serves two purposes : (1) application of
grammar and ( 2 ) an account of the 'Caulukya' dynasty. This mahakavya illustrates the first seven adhyāyas of Siddha hemacandra and describes the life of the kings of the 'Caulukya' dynasty such as Mūlarāja, Bhima, Karņa, Siddharāja Jayasimha and Kumārapala in Sanskrit.
